The professional Electrical Engineer for the Power Generation job candidate reviews electric system models developed by ATC, MISO, and other entities to ensure those portions of the electric system affecting the company are accurately represented. The Electrical Power Generation Engineering job candidate would be responsible for the reviews of transmission system plans and assessment as to the effect of potential and planned transmission improvements on the reliability and cost of electric service to customers. In addition, the professional electrical engineer job candidate would also assist departmental personnel in performing studies and analyses to meet the objectives and responsibilities of Energy Planning.

Madison, WI. Electrical Generation Planning Engineer Job Requirements:

To qualify, our Power Transmission Planning Engineer job candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a power systems emphasis, or an equivalent field of study. Up to five years’ experience in transmission planning or a related discipline is desired. Knowledge of business economic analysis and statistical analysis is helpful but not required.
