•Perform all of the daily functions associated with managing Full Service Route personnel such as issuing keys, money bags, change funds, accountability summary reviews, route reviews, etc. [If no Analyst is available the supervisor is required to review detailed reports including daily consignment reports by driver, daily accountability reports by driver, daily delivery service reports by driver, daily meter reports by driver, daily cash variance forms by driver.]

•Staffing, training, development, and management of all Full Service Drivers and relief personnel (this includes rides with to train, coach, evaluate and motivate)

•Manage and review Full Service KBI�s on an ongoing basis (cash yields, fill rates, scheduled/made/filled, etc.)

•Manage local risk management issues (truck audits, investigations, security, and safety). If no Auditors are available the supervisor is required to conduct the following audits: Target Audits, Route Integrity Audits, Meter/Totalizer Audits.

•Maintain accurate internal data to include EC, consignment, etc.

•Provide input to the Supply Chain team on route planning.

•Manage local customer relations (communication and satisfaction).

•Monitor vend rate and commission schedules.

•Deliver upon Full Service annual productivity plans.

•Work closely with Market Unit Full Service Analyst on executing sales/distribution goals and marketing strategy/standards.

•Executes against: Outlet profitability initiatives, Driver efficiencies, Space-to-sales initiatives/directives, 90 day outlet review, Asset management/utilization

IL 1st Congressional District Mokena Transportation Senior Engineer Position Responsibilities:
  • This individual works as a Senior Project Manager who oversees the design process or serves as a technical expert on specialized design projects. Provides advanced professional technical day-to-day support, guidance and input to other project team members. Directs and supervises other Engineering activities. The Sr.E II attends project meetings with clients to provide answers to project questions and to update project status.
  • The Sr.E II prepares the scope of services, detailed project budget and contract for the Transportation Group Leader’s review and approval. Works within a team and with Transportation Department Managers to determine the composition of project team(s). Assigns tasks, schedules and budget to project team members (including any subcontractors). Coordinates project scheduling to completes assigned projects on time and within budgets.
The Sr.E II develops new business opportunities with existing clients, making frequent client contacts in our South Division. The Sr.E II monitors client satisfaction, sells new projects, and develops project follow-up work. Represents Baxter & Woodman, Inc. at selected client and industry functions and recommends business development activities in the South Division to the Transportation Group Leader.

  • B.S. degree in civil engineering.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Engineer license.
10 or more years of experience performing the following tasks in a transportation/highway engineering profession:
  • Preparing and/or supervising the development of Phase I Project Development Reports and Phase II documents in accordance with the policies & procedures of the Illinois Department of Transportation.
  • Reviewing and commenting on plans, specifications and estimates that conform with the policies and procedures of the Illinois Department of Transportation.
  • Preparing and/or reviewing engineering contracts involving federal funding.
  • Preparing and/or reviewing engineering contracts involving Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) and/or other State funding.
